This tiny house was built two years ago. It's a Composite Steel Technology modular building, built for me by Murch-Tech.
It was fast, inexpensive with very little material waste. It came with a (wet) bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
A tiny kitchen area with sink, cabinets and hot water heater, small living space with baseboard heater.
And two loft areas that can be used for sleeping or storage. Plus a small deck with rails outside.
It is 10x10 (one loft area extends over the deck in the front), the largest allowed in my area without a building permit.
Initially I built this for my younger sister, who has some mental health issues - I wanted her to be safe and have some independence.
When her issues proved too great for her to continue living there, I turned the house into a studio. I painted everything white, walls, floor, railing, cabinets, it's a beautiful creative space.
It cost me $12,500 for everything.
