An electric bicycle hub motor can be installed on a modified bicycle
to give it extra power.
Coupled with charged up batteries the e-bike's motor gives you assistance whenever you want (as long as you've charged up).
You can pedal normally too. Some people
only use it when needed (going uphill, tough headwinds, or when to take
it easy when tired).
I think a regular bicycle with no additional power is cool because
you might as well be getting exercise -- but
for someone who is considering a scooter, or is using a bike as the
main source of transportation -- this is a pretty awesome
alternative.

is still light weight and can reach up to 38 MPH! Plus it's really

It's set up on 48 volts with 1000 watts. And incredibly enough the bike still weighs less than 10 pounds.
