Simple Cabin in the Mountains

This log home is just under 700 sq. feet.

It was built approximately one hundred years ago.

It was modernized about 25 years ago, by replacing the outhouse with indoor plumbing.

I have just purchased it. It was left unoccupied for the last two years, and has some work that needs to be done, but its basic structure is sound.

My goal is to preserve the history of the original structure, and add elements that help make it more sustainable, and provide my community with a salvaged piece of it's own history.

Imagine the possibilities...
